Evan keeps breaking. He does really well and goes to bed without much trouble for like a month or two and then all of the sudden he starts giving us trouble again. He was up tonight until like 9:30. Ray finally got fed up and laid down with him in our bed. And he usually goes right to bed at nap time but the last two days he's given me trouble then too. It took me half an hour to settle him down. I don't know what to do. Ray and I realize that kids give you less time but with a night like tonight we had no time at all to be adults with no responsibilities. Grace is doing good at least. Once we get her to sleep anyway. She sleeps through the night. Although she's been cranky lately from 6 until her bed time at 7:30. She's really fussy. We moved her bedtime to 7:00 tonight and she did a little better. Sometimes I think these kids are going to drive me crazy. I try to remember it's only temporary. Even though I know temporary means a few years.

There's no such thing as an adult without responsibilities. I've never heard anyone say, "Man, can't we just have fun like when we were adults?"
