Last night was super scary. I woke up around 11:30 to a bad storm outside. It was really loud and windy I guess. I woke ray up and he started checking the weather on his phone. We heard a really loud bang and that was enough to scare ray into going down stairs. He grabbed Evan and I took grace and we headed down the stairs. Halfway down the lights went out, there was another loud bang and I dropped my phone. It took us a minute to remember that ray had his. So he turned it on and we made our way to the guest room. I was scared to death and shaking. I really thought we were in the middle of a tornado. The kids were fast asleep. Grace started moving around so I put her in her car seat in the middle of the room and ray and ev and I crawled in bed. The storm died down pretty quick and ray's work called not too long after because they were having issues. The power came back on like twenty minutes after it went off and ray went and got his laptop from the car. Ev woke up after everything was over. Ray finished his work pretty quick and came back to bed but ev had woken up and continued to mess around for at least an hour. He finally went to bed and grace woke up around 5:40. So we moved back up stairs. It was a scary night I hope not to repeat. I'm so glad nothing serious happened and that our babies are safe.

We got the windows tinted on the van last week. The sun always shines in the kids faces. It works really well. We also tinted our windows and put a big strip across the top of the front. One down side, it's a little hard to see when I back up at night.

Grace's two month check up went good. She's 23 inches tall. She weighs 12.8 pounds. She still has a bit of thrush. So she's doing another round of medicine. The dr said she'll eventually grow out of it but she doesn't want it to flair up in the mean time. She got her first set of shots today. She cried really hard. Poor girl. She fell asleep as soon as we left. She woke up around 3:30 and was really cranky. She had screaming fits. I tried to feed her but she was too upset to eat much. I gave her Tylenol but it took like half an hour to calm her down. She slept until ray got home and had another screaming fit. She still didn't eat much. She was pretty gassy so we gave her gas drops. It took another twenty minutes probably but she finally started feeling better. She settled down and I finally got her to take six ounces. She's been sitting in my arms cooing and looking at me for awhile now. She just fell asleep. Very sweet happy baby. I hope her next set of shots don't have the same effect.
