Homemade turtle sundays!

I had to buy a foot support for when I sleep at night. I've been dealing with a heel spur since grace was born. My dr said that most will heal by itself with 12-18 months. I've had two steroid shots so far. The first one was great. The pain completely went away until the shot wore off. The second one helped but not as well. My dr likes to hold off on the third shot incase it gets really bad. So when I went in this time he suggested the foot support. Apparently my ligament grows back between my arch every night but when I get up in the morning if I forget to stretch it before getting out of bed, it tears it and causes inflammation and pain. Also my foot doesn't stay at a 90 degree angle over night so that causes the ligament to grow back to short. So this is supposed to keep my foot at the right angle. I hope it helps. I'm ready to have my foot back.

So I think I've figured out the sippy cup. Grace drank her milk from a cup after nap time today and I put her milk in a cup before bed. She took a few drinks but was kind of playing with it so I warmed it up a bit more and she drank the whole thing in one stretch. Maybe we'll be able to get rid of the bottles soon! Ray and I broke our resolution. We ate out tonight. Ray worked late last night and most of the afternoon and the kids wore me out so we decided to pick up dinner. It was yummy. We agreed that we're going back on the resolution though. It's a better example for the kids.

Grace just drank all her milk from a sippy cup without stopping or trying to get down!

Grace is walking most of the time now. She can walk around toys and she'll get up and start walking, plop down in front of a toy and them get up and take off some where else. And a few times I've caught her walking down the hall way carrying shoes or a book. Ev is doing good on potty training. He tells us most of the time and when we take him out we trust him enough to wear underwear. He hasn't been in diapers for a while. He wears underwear all day and he was in a single diaper over. Igbo but the last couple of nights, ray has put him in underwear and he's done great. Now if we can only get him to sleep in his bed all night. Ev is also talking up a storm. He says all kinds of stuff. His new thing is "what's the big idea?". Grace is also eating really well. She pretty much eats everything we do for dinner. I just cut firmer stuff into small pieces and she devours everything. I still can't get her to drink all her milk in a sippy cup but I'm assuming she'll eventually switch over completely. I've been working on invites and favors for evan's party. We still haven't figured out where we're going to have it yet. Ray and I have also made a resolution to stop eating out for the month of January. So far it's going well. Weekends are the hardest for us and ray and has helped out with that by making dinner both nights. I don't know if we'll keep it up past the end of the month but who knows. We also closed on our refinance. We are now locked in at a better rate!
