top, on the left side. The one beside it is almost through as well and
today while he was fighting being strapped into the car seat I saw
that he has a third one on the top working it's way through as well.
These top teeth have taken for ever though. Ray and I have been
watching them for weeks. He'll have a mouthful of teeth before we know
it though. He's growing and changing so fast lately.
Tonight around seven I was sitting on the floor and Evan crawled over
and got in my lap and started cuddling up and doing his snuggling
routine like when we are trying to put him down for the night. It was
so sweet that I had a hard time getting up and changing him into
jammies so he could sleep in his bed. I'm also cuddle deprived because
he's been pushing away when we rock him for the couple of minutes
before we put him in his crib. So we get like thirty seconds before
he squirms so much we have to give up. I told Ray Evan must be making
up for the two weeks of pushing. (I know this is a really good thing.
He's indepent when it comes to going to sleep. However, as a mommy of
a 1 yr old, I can say that he's growing up too fast. What will it be
like when he's five.)
Also one other thing that has occurred while trying to write this
post, Ray, Evan, and I are booked for our first family vacation! Ray
is the best man in Dan's wedding this summer in California. We are
taking the train to Flagstaff, Arizona. We're spending a couple of
nights while seeing the Grand Canyon. Then we're driving the rest of
the way to the wedding. We'll head back on the train. Now I know what
you're thinking. It is the longest possible way to get to California.
However, we decided it was the best way for Ray (he's slightly afraid
to fly) and Evan (he doesn't want to sit in a car seat or on
someone's lap for hours). We're hoping this way is the least
stressful. Although we've never traveled with a 1 year old for more
than a couple of hours before. Wish us luck. We might need it.

Bandit does the same thing. I'm all, "No, let me hold you longer!" Ah, us parents, when will we learn?
Can't wait to see that guy at his party. (And you guys too).
