Grace didn't like her bed today. She's sleeping on the floor infront of the door. :(

Also, it should be noted that Evan is doing a lot better about going to bed at night. He was a ton of trouble and would fight us for hours sometimes. But we started threatening spankings if he doesn't go to bed. The majority of the time he goes right to bed and has had very few actual spankings. Everyone is much happier. And even if he does come out a few times there hasn't been any fighting between the three of us for a while.

So far Grace is doing good with her converted toddler bed. Ray tried to put her to bed and she was giving him a lot of trouble and was really upset. He tried sitting in her room for a while and eventually just had to leave and shut the door. However she just stood by the door crying. So I went in, calmed her down, and took the quilt and her new pillow out. Then I put her in the way she usually sleeps, crosswise at the head of the bed and shut the door so it was open a little. She cried for a few seconds and then settled down and hasn't gotten out of bed yet. That was like 20 min ago.

Grace is a big girl now.

Afternoon fun for the kids.

I gave both the kids half a banana. Grace turns around looks at me and very clearly says "banana". I said "That was perfect grace!" usually she just says "ana."

View from the tent. Ev wants to camp out tonight but I'm not sure mommy's ready for that.

I set up the tent in the back yard for the kids.

Ev is good at coming up with things for he and Gracie to do when mommy doesn't feel so good.

Grace can do all five of the switches on her popup you and she pointed to both my eyes and nose said what they were.
