Visit from Wisconsin

Ray's friends from Wisconsin (Shawn, his girlfriend Amanda, and Jason)came down this weekend to visit. They're fans of the Brewers.The cards and the brewers are playing each other this weekend. So we had breakfast at McDonalds and then took the metro to the game. It was pretty chilly and mostly uneventful although there were a couple of good plays and two bats broke. The cards lost though. Oh and we got Evan a cute cardinals onesie. When it was over we walked to the arch. No one went up in it though because the line was long and Ray and I aren't good with heights.

My first mother's day was great! Ray and I slept in and then had breakfast at the donut shop down the street. Then we went and switched out the satellite radio in the van b/c it wasn't working right. Afterwards Ray said he had a surprise for me. It turned out to be a jogging stroller that I've been wanting. We spent the rest of the day at home together with Evan. It was a really nice day.

1 mo ck up

Evan had his 1 mo check up this week. He now weighs 11 pounds and is
22 inches long. So he's gained 3 lbs and like 3/4 of an inch since his
first check up. He's also starting to make new noises. Trust me it's
very cute. He's grunting a little less and moving a bit more. When we
wake up now his head is pushed up next to the side of the bassinet.
Don't worry it's mesh material. He's doing great and keeping us busy..
