Yay! Ray and Ted got the new bike rack and hitch installed today!!

Look what I just found in my copy of Fever code! Obviously stamped but still counts as signed by author!

Yay! Everything has finally arrived! And now Ray can install the new custom bike hitch and 5 bike rack on my van when he gets some time!!I also bought three top tube adapters for my, Ray's, and Evan's bikes. Hopefully these new purchases will make it easier to go riding with the kids. Right now if I go by myself I have to wrestle mine and Evan's bike onto our current rack or his and Grace's end up shoved in the middle of the car with Wes' bike trailer. My goal is to get the majority of the bikes out of the car and make things easier to transport. :)

Last night was eventful. The siren started going off around one or so. So we got the kids up and took them to the basement. Wes did really well. I figured he'd be all over the place but he just laid there in between me and Evan and waited for the storm to blow over. Although while we were waiting Evan said a couple of times that his stomach hurt and he threw up. So we rushed him to the bathroom. Luckily he said he felt better and the worst of the storm was over. So we took the kids back to bed and none of them made a sound they all went right to sleep.

Evan is getting a new bike for his birthday so I took the kids to try on helmets. Wes doesn't need one but the other two do.

Poor Gracie has been sick since Wednesday night. She's had a fever and a headache off and on. On Friday night it got up to 103.6. Luckily the ibuprofen we gave her brought it back down some. She slept off and on from 4:30 until about 7. She woke up and watched tv for about an hour and then we put her to bed at 8. She was fine most of yesterday and only had like a 99 fever. She was supposed to go to her friend Molly's birthday party today but she still wasn't back to normal this morning so Ray told her she could go to a movie with him and Ev instead. However when movie time rolled around her temp was back up to 101. She seems fine otherwise but she can't seem to kick that temp. Hopefully she's back to normal in the morning so we can get her back to school. So far we've been lucky and neither of the boys seem to have it.

Poor Gracie is home sick. But she and Wes are still enjoying Dr. Suess day by watching the Lorax.
