Starting on counter #2

Ray put the backer board on and we tried out different arrangements with the tiles and decided we weren't wowed. So tile shopping tomorrow.

It's done! Just kidding. First layer.

Starting on new kitchen counter top remodel. We decided to get rid of the ugly laminate and do modern tile. Eventually we'll redo the kitchen and put in granite and maybe new cabinets but this will hold us for a long time. Oh and I finally get a deeper sink!

Yay!! New stainless steel stove and microwave! And both have multiple cooking areas.

Yay, got everything planted. We're trying a few new things this year, onions, radish, zucchini pickling cucumbers, and Brussels sprouts. I may have crowded the garden.

Grace and I worked hard this afternoon. We were able to completely empty one bed and put weed barrier in the bottom and plant it with new veggies. Hopefully it's warm enough to make the seeds happy so they start growing. And then over the next week we'll be able to clean up the second one and put out the veggie plants we have waiting in my office.

Wesie has figured out how to crawl on his hands and knees but he still prefers the soldier crawl. He is pulling up on the fire place repeatedly and even taking a few steps along it.
