I mixed up a ton of icing this morning (Evan helped) and did some fondant prep today.

Grace has her first baby doll. Bad news though it was supposed to be Piper's b-day present. As soon as Grace saw it she went crazy and wouldn't let the box go. Evan keeps trying to play with it and put it back in the box but grace is not having it.

Grace is awesome at counting on the iPad. She touches all of pictures and even skips over the ones she's already done. She has also started looking at pictures in books. She picks up a book sits down and "reads" all by herself. And she's started talking more. She says "I want/need that." Also drink, Ahmah for grandma. She'll say "Dah" and "nooo" when asked questions.

Grace wanted to see the sunrise this morning. She and I were up at 5 am. Both she and Evan are napping now. Dad and Ray rented some kayaks and are out on the lake.

We made it to the lake. It rained a little on the way but it was a good trip. Both the kids got a little nap and the girls went and stocked up the kitchen.

Evan has slept without the sleep sheep since Sunday. And we're going to the lake next week. Hopefully he won't need it after going without it for two weeks. He still doesn't want to go to bed but at least there will be one less part to bedtime.
