Gingerbread party for Grace.

Grace got an early christmas present from Pawpaw Ted, her very own computer desk! It turned out beautifully! She is so excited. She spent the whole night at her desk and even wanted to eat dinner on it. Ted is also working on a matching one for Evan so he can have his own space and move out from under the cabinets in the kitchen. Wes is also getting a slightly smaller version, so he can be a big boy with the older kids and color while they do homework.

Wes got to make brownies with Grandma Paula yesterday. He felt like a big boy. And was talking about it this morning at breakfast.

Date night at Pieces Cafe. They also had lots of great vegetarian options.

We took full advantage of the nice weather yesterday. We played tennis in the morning and then went for a hike after lunch.

We seem to have an elf infestation this year. Gracie and Wes love it!

We took the kids for a hike today. They needed to run off some energy.

Our creation! And Gracie and I were able to put together a pretend hot chocolate bar so she could make hot chocolate for everybody like mommy.

I think the kids had a great day. We started off watching the snow fall and eating homemade cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs. Then we watched a movie next to a cozy fire Ray made and had popcorn with m&m's. Then Ray was able to break away from work for a little bit and we built a giant snow bear/tony the tiger. And then we came in and warmed up with Peppermint hot chocolate.
