Ray and I took the kids out to learn how to ride their bikes without training wheels. Evan did great and picked it up really fast. By the end all he needed was a push and he would take off. He did fall over one time and I thought he hurt himself for sure but he popped up and gave me a thumbs up. Grace did good but she was scared of falling so she didn't want us to let go. She did ride unassisted for a good length of time a couple of times. She kept cracking us up. One time she fell over and crawled like 10 ft away before getting up. And the last time she went really far and then started wobbling and eventually the bike slowly fell over on her. I know it shouldn't have been but it was funny and she wasn't hurt. That what the last picture is showing.

Everybody loves a snow day. Ev even made his own snowman this time.

It took a while but I finally finished Wes' boxy bag. And I made myself and the kids some paracord bracelets.

Almost there. He's getting onto his knees by himself know.

My parents babysat and we went out to dinner at the Melting Pot. It was a fun weekend.

I was also able to win all three of them a ball. They were so happy.

I think poor Wes might be starting to teeth. He's been getting up a lot lately at night. Luckily turning on his mobile or giving him a bottle gets him back to sleep. Hopefully that will keep working until his first tooth breaks through. He is taking two or three hour naps more frequently so that's a good trade off.

It was such a nice afternoon. We took the kids hiking. They brought their scooters and rode them while Ray and I walked with Wes. And we saw like 25 deer during our hike. They kids were really excited, some of them were really close to the trail. It was nice to get outside.

Pre v-day dinner

Ray installed the new baby gate tonight. Looks like it's just in time too. Wes is starting to push up on his knees a little and halfway sit up sometimes whole rolling.

More baby proofing. We ordered new end tables. Wes keeps tipping the current one over and knocking it and the lamp into the window while sitting in our lap. We also ordered an extra wide baby gate to close of the living room from the rest of the house. Now he'll have a safe place to play and roll around.
