He's here!!! Wesley James Spencer made it to the world at 6:50 pm last night, June 18th. We were actually scheduled for an induction yesterday afternoon but I started having strong contractions at twenty till ten. So we made it here around noon. And I was dilating on my own so we never needed potosin. It took a few hours to make it to 5 cm. I went from 5-8 in a couple hours and then jumped to 10 really quick. Ray had gone down to get some dinner and I wasn't sure he was going to make it back. But he was here within plenty of time. He was a really good coach. He held my hand and cheered me on and kept me hydrated. Wes weighed in at 9 lbs 4 oz and was 21" long. It was a really hard delivery. But after about half an hour of pushing he finally came out. He had a bit a fluid in his lungs but they worked with him and got it out. And he's a healthy,happy, quiet little boy. He's doing really well. He's latching on and went to sleep after his last two feedings over night. Ray and I are so glad he's finally here! Ray is bringing the kids up soon to meet their little brother. I'll post pics!

Yay new couches come on Saturday! It will be a different color though.

Yay! Carpet! The basement is finished!!!!! Just need baseboards. The kids were so excited they ran around screaming and Evan slide across the floor and said he hated the living room and loved the basement now.

Still having contractions and back pain tonight. He may be here before too long.
