Gracie and I have been doing lots of shopping the last couple of days. Today we went and bought lots of stuff to decorate our new beautiful house. So far all I've gotten done are the decorations for the the banister.

Riding bikes and fixing hair. Busy day at the spencer house. :)

It's hard waiting to decorate for Christmas. I figured since it's not freezing I'd start hanging lights and then turn them on next weekend. The day after thanksgiving, we're going to put up the tree. And the kids are actually both old enough to help this year. Not that they didn't before. But hopefully there will be more hanging of ornaments and less playing with them. Not that I've forgotten about thanksgiving. I can't wait to see everyone and eat all that delicious food!

Grace scared the crap out of me this morning. Ray took Evan and John Paul out to the camper because they wanted to play in the bunk beds. His sister Maggie and Grace ended up out there too. Grace climbed on the front seat and knocked a lamp over that was sitting on the console. I moved towards it to stand it back up. All the sudden grace threw the camper out of gear and it started rolling backwards. I dove for the break and laying across the seat held it down with my hand to stop the camper. I yelled at grace to get out of the front seat and for all of the kids to go inside. Ray tried a couple of times unsuccessfully to put it in park. Put when I moved my hand it rolled some more. He finally got it and I was able to let go of the break. But my hands were literally shaking for a while. The kids never noticed anything was wrong.

We're visiting Paula. The kids got to play with Laurie's adopted grand kids. And they helped Grandma make pancakes this morning and they're going to make cookies and order pizza tonight while ray and I go on a date.

New chairs! I got tired of the kids getting food on our fabric chairs and they were poorly made anyway. And we don't have enough seating for guest. Since we were having friends over today I used it at an excuse to finally get new chairs.
