Bathroom is getting closer. Ray has been working on the vanity and sink the last couple if nights. The waterfall faucet we bought was too rambunctious and wasn't working well with the sink. So after getting everything together Ray had to take it all apart and put in a different faucet. Almost done though then just the stone backsplash left and I still need to pick out a toilet paper and towel holder. Maybe next week.

Evan's first day went well. Ray and I dropped him off at his classroom and he was ready to go in right away. I called him over and told him to give me a hug and almost cried but I stayed strong and then told him to say bye to Ray. At first he just said bye dad but then Ran over and gave Ray a big hug. Then he went in and started playing and we left. Grace was really upset. She started crying because she didn't want to leave Evan. We told her we'd come back for him and that we had snacks and a juice box for her in the car and that she could watch Tangled and spend time with mommy and daddy by herself. When we came to pick Evan up, his teacher said that he had a really great day and that he did fine and made new friends. When he saw us though he ran to me and jumped in my arms. He buried his face in my neck and looked tearful. He was really quiet. We asked him what was wrong and he said he just missed us so much. When we got to the car we asked him about his day and what he did. He said he thought he had a fun day. When we asked him if he was excited to go back Thursday he said he didn't think he wanted to go because he'd miss us too much. Although I reminded him that he didn't miss us today until we came to get him and that he had fun. Hopefully he'll be happy to go back.

So the toilet is back in but the new vanity didn't work. After Ray and I searched online separately for hours we finally found one we like after 10 minutes of looking together. It should be in in a week or so. I also painted the bathroom today. It will be nice to have it all finished and not have to run upstairs every time the kids have to go potty.

The school just did a play session. Evan got to see his cubby and we found out his daily schedule and meet his teacher and her two assistants. There will be nine other little kids in his class. Evan didn't want to leave. I think he's really going to like preschool. Everyone said that he had a large vocabulary and Ms. Erin said that she would have guessed that he was five. All three of the teachers asked if it was his first year. They were surprised at how comfortable and social he was. I also put Grace on the early threes list. She really wants to go to school. I think she'll be the one crying on Tuesday, not Evan. If some of the kids drop out for the next semester she could be enrolled in January.
