Oh the silly things you do to sell a house. We have a frost warning so I covered the planters with plastic bags but I'm worried about all the plants in the flower beds. So I covered them with all the throw blankets I could find. I'll have to go out early and take them off so the neighbors don't think we're crazy. If it saves the plants though it's worth it.

Hanging out at the zoo while the house is showing. Evan made friends with one of the sea lions. It kept swim around him and doing flips. He called it my seal. And he and grace both got up close with an orangatang..

Yay! We're finally getting showings again. It's been like a month. But we had one yesterday and another one tomorrow night. And we're having an open house on Sunday. Hopefully someone will make an offer soon.

An afternoon painting. (It was more like 10 min for ev and a half hour for grace.)

Evan and Grace's new bikes!

The kids sleeping bags came in. They're going to use them on our summer vacation this year.

I checked on Evan before we went to bed and this was how I found him, fast asleep.

While we were outside letting ev ride his bike, our neighbors girlfriend brought her budgie over for the kids to see. They loved him. His name was ice cream and he hopped up and down their arms and sat on their shoulders. Evan said he wanted a bird too. I told him we'd talk about it when he was older.

Guess who can ride a tricycle! Evan got on today and rode around the patio all by himself 3-4 times. I couldn't ever get him interested before. But he was really proud of himself and he was excited. He said "Mom, I can do it myself." (He wanted me to sit and watch him.) He also wanted to show Ray how he could do it by himself after dinner. We're getting him a big boy bike with training wheels tomorrow. His tricycle seems hard to push. Or his legs are too long. So we're going to get him one that fits better. He's excited to go pick it out. I'm so proud of him. He's such a big boy these days.
