Dinner at a Chinese restaurant called Evergreen. It had tons of "mock" meat options. We got beef and broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. And veggie egg rolls. It was delicious!

Dinner. Ev got super scared when it started "storming". He ended up sitting on my lap during dinner and hid his face half the time. Poor guy.

So the kids and I met ray for lunch at taco johns. They're napping now. We're going back to pick up ray this afternoon and then to the airport to pick up Katie.

We had a little drama yesterday. While the kids were napping i noticed that two wasps had gotten in probably while the maintance guys were putting in a new air conditioning. So we ended up switching to two afjoining rooms. However right away i saw that it wasn't going to work. The kids didn't have any room to run and there was too much for them to get into. They had sprayed bug spray in our room to get rid of the wasps so we couldn't get back into our original room until the next day. So Evan kept saying he wanted cheese dip for dinner last night. So we ended up at las cantitas or something like that. The food was really good. Afterwards we put the kids to bed and ray read while I watched sex and the city reruns and did laundry.

So we made it to Roseville, MN. The kids were really good. Ev still didn't take a nap but he did fine. He seems to get more energy instead of winding down. As soon as we got to the room he climbed on the bed and started jumping on the bed non-stop. We took the kids to the mall. Ev started out walking and he wanted to ride up and down the escalator as soon as we walked in. He had fun though run in around the mall. They also have a choo-choo train like the one at home so he was excited to see that. Afterwards we went to dinner at a place called Good Earth. While we waited for our food, a woman was sketching out an ad for the wine they were serving that night. It turned out really well. The kids were a bit crazy. They're getting hard to handle when we eat out. After dinner it was getting late so we went to a couple store getting things we needed for the week and then we came back and put the kids to bed. On the way home though, driving through the city, we saw the most beautiful sunset.

Driving to Iowa. It was cloudy all day but they were so pretty. The trip went really well. Ev skipped his nap but didn't get too cranky. Grace took two naps. Although she was extremely cranky in the car after eating dinner with Jim and Laurie at godfathers pizza. She screamed and cried the whole way home. But they both went right to bed. So it's peaceful again.

Oh I forgot to mention, we're leaving Saturday for a little over a week! Ray's taking a training class and we're making a road trip out of it. It's in minneapolis. So we're going to stay with ray's aunt on the way up and the way back. Then we'll be able to do dinner with Katie and spend Friday and Saturday with her before we head back.

So I ordered a custom case for my ipad like two and a half months ago. It was supposed to be ready in 2-4 weeks but they kept pushing back the shipping date. Anyway I said that I would appreciate if when it was finished that they ship it with the quickest method possible. They contacted me this week saying that it had shipped and I noticed that it was two day service. So after waiting months, it will finally be here Monday.
